My Home -Made instrument.

For my BTW new works project I decided to create a cigar box guitar. Unfortunately I do not have it with me at the moment, but I'm sure I'll get pictures and, hopefully, audio soon.  Right now I'm more focused on telling you the step by step process of how it was made. Step 1: actually getting a wooden cigar box.  My father and I bought a nicely finished cigar box for maybe twelve dollars. The real problem was getting a suitable set of hardware ( neck, tuner, etc.) We finally settled for an old beat up guitar in a flea market. From there we began drilling and sawing , that eventually made the ghetto-fabulous master piece that you will later see.

Booker T New works Today!!!

Today in new works we are working on several mandalas drawn on a piece of copy paper. In the space between circles we must make patterns that last through out the drawing. The assignment, given to us on the fourth of november, is now turning into a mandala filled space with endless patterns. Mr. Richards sent us to the mac lab to scan these pictures as a rough draft for the " great masterpiece" soon to come.

BOOKER T O:

There  are always people poking the living crap out of me. I rather like the class but people kinda scare me... By poking me.... In my sides ( ow). In fact, the person that pokes me most often in new works is sitting right behind me 0-0. Besides the people poking me, new works seems to be alright. We have learned about space, chakras and how fun lying on your back and thinking about flowers eating people. Not even being funny. We had to lay on our backs and think about all these funny, random things. None the less, it's fun. This is my first blog so, it probably isn't that good. I'll be writing about fire and stuff soon
